Default New WH ticketing Guidlines for 2010

This is interesting...

* BEST AVAILABLE: Members who select "Best Available" will have the greatest chance of being confirmed for tickets to the show, and, if selected, may be confirmed for tickets within ANY of the price levels, based on available tickets in the Warehouse allotment at each level. If a member selects Best Available and there are both Reserved and General Admission (GA) areas, if chosen to be confirmed for tickets, the member may be confirmed for either Reserved or GA tickets.

* AMPHITHEATRES: In general, for concerts held in amphitheatre venues with a multiple price level offering in the Pavilion, members who choose tickets for a specific price level may be confirmed for any of the ticket levels offered at that price. For example, if a member selects GA Pit Standing, they may be confirmed for the GA Pit Standing or the next level/s of Pavilion Reserved Seating at the same price (if offered) based on availability. However, if there are no remaining tickets available at the same price, these members will be eliminated from the confirmation process and will not be assigned to a lower price level such as Rear Pavilion or GA Lawn.

* ARENAS: For concerts held in arenas, the Warehouse may offer tickets in a 360-degree configuration around an end-stage. In all arenas there will be GA Floor Standing on the Arena Floor, with Reserved Seating in the Lower and Upper Arena Seats. Members who request GA Floor Standing will only be considered for that level. Members who request Reserved Arena Seats will be confirmed for Lower or Upper Arena seating only.

* STADIUMS: For concerts held in stadiums there will be GA Field Standing and Reserved Grandstand seating. Members who request GA Field Standing will only be considered for tickets in that level. Members who request Reserved Grandstand seats will be considered for multiple price level seating within the Grandstands if offered.

Thanks Amber! I highlighted some key points.. I think I will be just requesting Best Available for all my shows and hope for the best.

You're welcome Chris. I'm definitely doing the same. The big question is, does this mean that Seniority has been done away with?

Seniority should stay in tact. I think the guidelines are more about how you request tickets and how they are being offered. One of the biggest things too, being that stadiums are GA only, so for venues like Hershey which had field seating before.. it will be GA only now..

So if you request GA or Pavilion only there is a better chance of being denied rather than just choose Best Available. Depends on the venue too.

there's no other reason for seniority. the only thing seniority did is give you the better seat if it was between you and say a new member. there's no other incentive or extra stuff.

Hey, I am new to this site, and received information about Dave concerts for 2010 for this year by a friend. I was supposed to go to the show in Utah last year and then it was canceled... I read this and do we just get tickets from our local ticketer or is there a specific site where we can request to be confirmed?
Thanks!

For Starters welcome to DBTP!

To answer your question the new ticketing policy applies to the members of the Warehouse who will be requesting tickets for this year's tour. I'm not aware if this will apply to TM/Live Nation.
