Default Dave Matthews Band to Play Pepsi Music Festival, Buenos Aires Argentina

As per DMBAlmanac, Dave Matthews Band appears to be scheduled to play The Pepsi Music Festival in Argentina during the week of the 19th of September. The festival runs from Sept. 13–19; fans are able to vote on the schedule of bands, so it is unknown at this time on which date DMB will perform. The festivals web site is of course in Spanish, but I've translated the opening page:

"Information about the Festival" page (http://www.pepsimusic.com.ar/main.ph...ales&si=1&mo=1) is says:

"As in past years, the festival brings you the best national rock as well as top notch international guests. This year, your vote moves the lineup. According to what you choose in the the "Who Plays?" tab, you all choose! The grid will continually modify/change according the the opinion of the public.

Among confirmed guests are:

NOCHE APERTURA: THE HIVES (NOCHE APERTURA (Opening Night – 13 DE SEPTIEMBRE)
ANDRÉS CALAMARO
CATUPECU MACHU
DAVE MATTHEWS BAND
KY-MANI MARLEY
LOS CAFRES
ÁRBOL
LOS TIPITOS
MASSACRE
EL OTRO YO
KAPANGA

Hmm, with Farmaid expected to run on the 20th, I sure hope they land a spot earlier in the festival so Dave can recover from jet lag!

Remember that Farmaid is just rumored at this point to be the 20th at Mansfield - No official word on the Farmaid site, from Dave , from Willi, or from Mellencamp.

Also, Almanac lists the DMB performance as the 13th even though the festival runs until the 20th. I'll have more info on the festival itself in the article ... stay tuned!!

Pepsi Music Festival international confirmed guests are:
Dave Matthews Band
The Cult
Motley Crue
Stone Temple Pilots
Ki-Mani Marley
Nine Inch Nails
The Hives

10-03-2008 confirmed guests are:
DMB
Fito Paez
La Portuaria
Bahiano
Cuarteto De Nos

I can't wait to add my first date on my signature!!!

Data:
**The only time DMB stepped on argentine floor was in 1998 when the band had to cancel a concert due Carters mother passing away.
**DMB has comfirmed the presence of Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross on the concert. Tim has no commitments at that time, so probably he will be on board as well.
