Default Posting Images to the forum

You can add an image to your post a few different ways

1. you can upload your attachment by first click on "go advanced" to reply to a thread.

Once you are at the message box, if you scroll down below the message box you will see a tab that says "manage attachments". That will open up a pop-up box which will allow you to upload a picture from your computer or with a url link.

Once you select the photo/file you want, click on "upload" and then "Submit Reply" to complete your post.

2.
you can cut an paste the image in your reply or if you use any free photo hosting site like photobucket or flickr you can click on this icon in the message box..

A pop up will appear and you can cut and paste a link to your photo which will place it in your post...

3. you can simply cut and paste the image right into the message box

Default also having problems

I consider myself pretty computer savy.. and none of the items 1,2, or 3 seem to help. I see no tab for "manage attachments". Perhaps you could do a screen print and circle it to show me where to look. Or perhaps you could explain the process of getting a URL address for my photo (which is in .jpg format). Simply cutting and pasting is not working either.

Ok. Sorry about this. There may have been a setting off that was not allowing you to see the "manage attachments" tab. I made some changes and you should be able to see it and use it now. Is should look something like this and the instructions above should allow you to successfully add a picture to your post on the forum.

As far as the URL goes you need to have the image uploaded somewhere on the internet ie photobucket, flickr.

Something like this... http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ttachments.jpg

If you click on the icon in the message box, a pop up will appear where you can type or cut and paste that url in that box.. click ok and the image will appear in the message box.

Sorry if any of this is unclear...I am doing my best to explain this and make this process as easy as possible..

If you are still having problems, let me know..
